Spring is in the air, and with it comes the excitement of Easter! There's no shortage of engaging games and Easter activities for kids to enjoy at this special time of year. From egg hunts to bunny crafts, Easter-themed games, and creative art projects, there are countless ways to bring the joy of the season into the classroom while incorporating valuable learning experiences with Easter ideas. 1. Plastic Easter Egg Hunt
One thing you'll definitely want to do is have a classroom or grade level Easter egg hunt. How can you make this activity fun and educational? Instead of putting candy in the eggs, add sight words to each egg. When the hunt is completed, have students open their eggs and read the words to a friend.
2. Easter Basket Craft
Give your students a simple Easter basket pattern to trace and cut out. Kids can use markers to color paper eggs to add to their Easter baskets. It's a great way for kids to practice fine motor skills like cutting and gluing.
3. Easter Egg Coloring

Fill a sensory bin with Easter grass, plastic eggs, small toys, and other Easter-themed items for sensory play and discovery. Add sight words and spelling words to your plastic Easter eggs for students to find in the sensory bin. Then give them a simple worksheet to write their words.
